De Gaulle: Premiere at Cannes?


Release in theaters of the first installment of the two-part historical film event based on Charles De Gaulle's life during WWII is still a few months off in June, but there is an exciting rumor about a splashy premiere prior to that. According to ScreenDaily, the film may be making its world premiere at the renowned Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 12-23.

De Gaulle: Shooting Wrapped


The two-part biopic of Charles De Gaulle, now aptly titled De Gaulle, has completed filming. Tom will be starring as British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden, along with Simon Russell Beale, who will be playing Winston Churchill, and Simon Abkarian, who plays De Gaulle. The French language film is being directed by Antonin Baudry. Cineuropa reports that the project has been pre-sold to Canal+ and Disney+, but no release date was given.

Suicide Brothers: NHFF Best Short Comedy


And the "Granny" goes to...The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of the Suicide Brothers! The New Hampshire Film Festival came to a close today with their awards ceremony, recognizing the best films screened over the past 4 days with a "Granny." Tom's film, The Suicide Brothers, deservedly won Best Short Comedy!

We at Tom-Mison.com couldn't be happier for Tom, the Brownlee Brothers, Rupert Friend, Keira Knightley and everyone who worked so hard on this fantastic film!!  Congratulations!

Suicide Brothers: An Official New Hampshire Film Festival Selection


The New Hampshire Film Festival has released their list of official selections for the festival and, as we expected, The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of The Suicide Brothers has been included. The festival runs from October 15-18 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. As soon as the schedule of events is released, we'll post the screening information.
